Functional programming is a programming paradigm that has its roots in mathematics and is the source of a lot of the foreboding terms and complex dialogue. In fact, the term functional programming has a myriad of connotations and definitions, creating hence a multitude of misunderstandings between programmers. ReactJS Girls is built by and for the community, engaging software engineers and designers in meaningful talks and discussions where women take the stage. At the beginning of 2020, the ReactJS Girls community encompassed more than 1200 members, 2 locations and 19 editions.
